Graphic Novels

As my son grew, so did his reading interests. In second grade, he devoured graphic novels for breakfast, lunch and dinner. When he moved up to third grade, so did I! (as a teacher, of course.) That year, I read, recommended and heard about graphic novel after graphic novel. I watched my class and school library go empty every time a book was returned. Kids. Love. Graphic Novels. While teaching third grade, a story seed idea came to me about polygons, and the graphic novel writing juices started flowing. The following year, I moved to fourth grade with all of my third grade students, and my son moved to fourth also. So here we all were again discovering new books together for fourth graders, which included many amazing graphic novels.
