Early Readers

My first published book is coming soon. Agent representation and publishing opportunities are coming my way any day now.

Early readers were the igniting spark that peaked my interest in writing kids’ early readers. I taught first grade for thirteen years and spent much of my days selecting, reading and listening to kids read early readers. I watched as kids choose or passed on early readers, and experiences choice for the first time as independent readers. There is magic in those moments that inspired me to want to write engaging early readers that would encourage beginning readers to pick up book after book.
